lol, cat poo smells, it always does no matter what they eat!

could you encourage her to go outside a bit more to go toilet rather than using the tray?

our cat eats dry, canned and lots of canned fish.... tuna, sardines, etc. and i give him meat trimming or bits of mince from the dinner all the time

a combination of dry food and kitten food, the stuff that comes in pouches

but mine never used a litter tray, he has always gone outside

you just reminded me he needs his flea treatment

My cat was a greedy bastard at that age. He was off kitten food in no time as it didn't satisfy him, so went on to adult food. He then decided he prefered dog food and is now known to elbow our long suffering Golden Retriever out of his bowl to steam into the dog's food.

Our's is almost six months. We were told by the rescue people to give him Whiskas kitten food until he is a year old but he doesn't really like it. He's now on a mixture of kitten food pouches, cheap tinned tuna, dried biscuits and whatever leftovers we have from our plates. He doesn't seem to mind if there is veg or rice in with the meat and It doesn't seem to upset his tum at all. My sister works for a vet and gives me lectures about how it's only us who think that cats need variety and really they are happy with dried food etc etc but I disagree. I think a bit of variety is good for any animal (it certainly didn't do our hamster any harm as she lived until 3 yrs which is very good for a hamster) and when the rescue lady came last week to do our kitten's microchip she commented on his beautiful healthy coat.

our 2 kittens are on royal canin kitten 34 dry cat food. their poo still stinks but maybe not just as bad as when they were on the whiskas kitten pouches.
