Am I an awful slovenly home owner or is it just one of those things?

its one of those things that happen when you have animals. All the f@%&ing time.

I have a cat that is allergic to practically every flea spray on the market.

I have another cat that is allergic to every flea spray on the market.

ANd one reacts to many types of cat food.

Just one of these things that happen

She might have brought them with her and theyve only just matured enough to be noticed?

Fleas just appear from thin air (or hair...). The frontline drops do seem to work though although they are horribly chemical and probably tested on animals (in the worst way) and you can get away with not spraying the house. Ignore vets who sayyou need to treat every surface - they just want to make even more money.

Sorry I didn't get back here sooner! Well, poor Alice has had the drops on the back of her neck, a thorough comb through (which she was in heaven with - until...) flea spray, flea collar and I have also sprayed the chairs, sofas cushions and rug. Got about 4 or 5 out while combing. Hoping that may be the end of it this time, although I have to admit I am yet to examine the guinea pig. Poor cat.

Need to get her vaccines so I will see about frontline what not when I take her.

Hoover everywhere in your house thoroughly and careful bin the bag/contents, wash any soft furnishings on the hottest cycle that you can and then spray the house with the flea spray. I've found Frontline the best thing for the animals, spray for the dogs, spot on for the cat and buy it online from Petsuperstore. The problem with fleas is that they thrive in modern centrally heated houses all year round, pesky things.
