Neighbours just caught kids trying to let my dog out again!!!!!

Had a very stressful night when trick or treating kids let him out by forcing back gate.
To cut a long story short I've just got him back this afternoon.

Just bathed him as he was filthy when my next door neighbour knocked on the door. She's just seen off 3 boys from my back garden looking for my dog to set free........ what the hell is the world coming to???????[angry}

what a weird thing to do.
Did they force the gate with the object of letting him out?
What breed is he?

Yes, think they were annoyed because I didn't answer the door while they were trick or treating. They ripped the doorbell off on monday night!

He 's a gorgeous springer spaniel, only 8 months old

I've really gone off halloween this year.

I'd cll the police - if they were checking CCTV anyway tell them what is going on....They have damaged your property and potentially you could have lost your dog - its not on.

Just got off the phone to police and they'll come right round if i catch sight of them again but for now i'll have to keep her shut in the house till dh can secure the gate properly
