Chances of 1 yr old dog having lymphoma?

The vet thought it likely and it's so heartbreaking and hard waiting for results.

Does anyone have experience of this? Surely it would be unusual so young?

She's the most affectionate, happy dog and gone so quiet and off walks and only eating because being fed chicken rather than her dry food.

I can't stop worrying as just assumed she's be around for a good 14 years or more.

Hate to say it but it is possible, as tragic as it is. Fingers crossed for you though x

Try re posting this in The Dog House, you may get more traffic. Very sad if your dog does have lymphoma.

Thank you for your replies. It does seem likely and so hard to take in and she's not well at all. It's awful and I'm so sorry for all dog owners who've had to say goodbye as it must be such a dreadful sadness

All you can do is make her comfortable, throw the rule book out the window and do whatever you feel will make her feel better, let her sit on the sofa/bed. Move her bed near a radiator or draft if too hot. Don't let a whimper go unnoticed things like that. Sending hugs
