You could do Lymm Dam (is that how you spell it? have got mental block on the word 'dam'!) or go up to Alderley Edge maybe.

Most 'parks' you are going to need the dog on a lead aren't you?

funnily enough off to the edge tomorrow with a friend.our off leaders are:kelsall rugby club fields - these are DMs (mutt)absolute faves, the bollin, wythenshawe park and devisdale. lymm dam is great suggestion - thankyou

clarissa, to get tolymm dam go to the big roundabout (prob easy for you to get on M56 and come off st hale turnoff, then follow lymm off the roundabout.if you stay on this road, it eventually opens out going over a river with ice cream van on left, this is the dam.looks quite cool to walk round
