omg, we've just agreed to get our 1st ever cat (kitten)

I've only had dogs as a girl, but not really practical for us. Neighbour offered me a kitten of her work mate - can't believe it, but dh was all up for it. Just told her we say yes!!!!!

Going to visit tomorrow and will get her when we get back from visit to UK. Can't wait to tell the boys. I'm now really excited. Never had a kitten/cat before. can't wait to take the boys shopping for all the stuff we need, choosing a name for her etc ect. SOmeone wish me congratulations!

We have an adult cat already she is 13yrs. My dd decided that she wanted a kitten and you would not believe just how difficult this proved to be.
There would appear to be a shortage and we had to go onto various waiting lists and be vetted before we were considered.
Anyway collected a beautiful kitten 2 weeks ago and we are all totally smitten with her - she is gorgeous - called Flossie.

thanks, you'll be hearing a lot from me, asking all sorts of questions. Wish i could show her off - she's very pretty - white nose, jaw area, running down tummy and undernesth, sort of brown tabby? or is that ginger, she's not ginger, brown with bits of black on up top half of head running dow nback and tail. really pretty eyes. got a photo of her. ahh.
