Best place to get hutch for 2 guinea pigs pleas...

We are new to this, willing to learn. Need to be kept outdoors, on patio (shaded). In winter planning to move into our large shed with lots if light. Would prefer double decker style with run underneath, I think. Thanks x

Is there a Pets At Home near you? They have knowledgeable staff. The guinea pigs will probably need a run as well, so they can get some fresh grass if you have a lawn.

We have two, too. Love them. They are so cute. You'll get lots of fun from them. They whistle and whoop and boing and like cuddles.

The majority of P@H staff are less than knowledgeable, unfortunately. Happy Hutch make some good hutches, well made and reasonably priced. Just make sure you get the right size of hutch, at least 8 square feet all on one level. Also make sure that the hutch/run is totally secure from foxes and other animals, or you may want to move them inside to save accidents. Take a look at www.guineapigwelfare.org.uk/ , they have some good information about piggies. www.guineapigcages.com also has very good information and a brilliant forum. When you get piggies, if you don't already, please consider rescuing. There are so many needing homes all over the country, you just have to look. They are fabulous pets if you do your research, good luck!

This one is big enough for two. Probably only two females though, as male pairs need more space.
