first my dog smells,now my bloody cat brings a thing with legs in!

i thought it was a catapillar she was playing with in the kitchen,then i saw its legs!ds1 says its a newt,dd2 says its like one of them sweets out of haribos,dh says its a baby lizard...me....i just screamed like the girl i am and ran in the living room hoping that someone from mn will rescue me!!!!(by the way,its now in a pack lunch box with water and a stone and dh is taking it to his friend who has lizards!!)

oh,and the cats eaten half its tail,but its growing back!!!yuk!!

Probably a lizard if the tail is growing back ... cats are grubs sometimes, aren't they!

you can see its new tail growing and dh's mate said it does sound like a baby lizard!god knows where the cat found it!ds1 is lovingly caring for it and just asked me what they eat!havent a clue.hes jsut told me hes called it groovile!weird child!!

Arrg not a newt of the crested variety, they are a protected specy!

well,if it is,its half eaten by my mogs!!

Not sure cats take too much notice of whether a species is protected or not before they catch them ...

update for you,its now in the kitchen as ds2 (6) started crying that he doesnt want it to go as its the only friend hes got!!gawd knows what thats all about.told him it can live in the kitchen until it goes to dh's friedns later.bloody thing would be flushed down the loo if i got my way!!sorry,but i hate things like this.ds heard me saying 'put it down the loo' and hes now guarding it with his life!bless!

oh,and he asked if i could give it some sunday dinner as its hungry!!

You can actually see their tails growing back?? never knew it was that fast.

the end has sealed up and theres a browny black roundy bit coming out of it!

Mt sisters cat brought in a squirrel the other day, apparently it was screeching in agony this is why I dont have pets.

poor thing!!ours brought a mouse home and i screamed and threw it and the cat outside!!pheobe then sat on the windowsill eating it!!evil evil puss!!!
