A bullied cat letting other cats into the house

Either my cat or one it let into the house wee'd on the carpet. Plus we had fights in the middle of the night between our soft cat and a.n. others. So we taped up the cat flap but are fed up with litter trays - expense, smell, envronment etc. Any ideas ?

get ones of those magnetic cat collars and a magnetic door

a bit cumbersome but probably you're best bet

Get a cat flap fitted that only allows your cat through. We have one - the cats have a magnet thingy attached to their collars and it somehow activates the flap so no other cats can use it.

we have this with our cats too, so as it only seems to happen at night I now put the cat flap on exit only at night. The cats can go out if they need to but then if they do they have to stay out until morning, doesn't do them any harm and tbh after a couple of weeks they seem to have got the idea and generally stay in unless they have to go out. No point me getting a magnetic cat flap as one of my cats is constantly losing her collar and it would cost me a fortune in replacement magnetic thingies.

I would second the magnetic cat flap idea - I had a small and weedy cat for many years, and it was her salvation!

(but be warned, I heard a story about someone who fitted one of these the wrong way round, and came down in the morning to find half of the neighbourhood cats milling round her kitchen...)
