Does anyone else have a rabbit who prefers to sit out in the rain rather than in his two storey dry hutch ?

I am worried he will catch cold lol I know that sounds daft. I was under the impression that rabbits didn't like the rain

Mine used to have a choice of a warm, clean, dry hutch or his own self-made burrow. And he still liked to sit out in the rain sometimes, esoecially when it was more of a drizzle than a downpour.

They have good thick fur coats. :)

Yes! I have had lots of rabbits and two of them would rater sit out in the cold and wet than a nice big hutch. For one of them, in the end, I stopped using the hutch as a hutch and used it as a cupboard to store the rabbit things in.

lol ok well that has put paid to me worrying then at the moment as it is sooo cold his small hutch comes in the kitchen at night so we just dry him with a towel
