Had to take Nemo to the emergany vet

as he still isn't peeing properably, they have checked him over again and his bladder isn't blocked but they have given him a painkilling jab to make him more comfortable, I have to take him to the vet tomorrow. My poor baby

One of my cats was like this and it was caused by Iams food Apparently that is very common and some cats just can't have it.Your poor little cat Has he got anti biotics?

No AB yet, the emergancy vet said that our vet would do all that tomorrow, he is very sleepy now, and drowsy.

Aw, sparkly! I agree about the Iams, that's what happened to our cat, Smokey. He's on Hill Science and hasn't had a prob since. He needs some ABs to clear the infection.

Nemo isn't on Iams though, just dried food, The vet I saw today was saying 'are you sure he isn't on ABs??' errrr yes, I'm sure... I did wonder if Nemos should have been on ABs, myself, so I guess he will have that tomorrow, he is still sleeping, should I worry???

He should be on ABs if he's got cystitis or kidney infection, which it sure does sound like! A culture or blood test can pick up infection as well.

I'd let him sleep. He should be okay till tomorrow.

I think Nemo has gone out, I can't find him anywhere, I found Doryon DS's bed but can't find Nemo.... I hope he is ok....
