DD helped to deliver our latest addition (though only temporary) - was caesarian birth with prolapsing Ewe Sad

Vet managed to save the Ewe but lamb came out not breathing... very proud of dd giving her all (inc mouth to mouth as vet advised) and bringing her round.

She couldn't stand up on her own or maintain body temp but ten days on and she's butting us around the kitchen and will be joining the creche of trips and quads back on the farm over the week.

Such a lovely visitor!

What a fantastic pic! Grin Between budgies and kittens, and now that lovely lamb, it's a real time for birth (and rebirth?)

Well done to your dd on giving mouth to mouth btw, not sure I could do it for my pets.

Smile I'm very proud of her... and how well the lamb has rallied.

Baby budgies? ... Where? Do they get fluffy and adorable like chiks? I can only think of little vulnerable bald things Hmm

It wasn't a baby budgie but a heart-warming story.

(Warning, the budgie dies. :( )
