Anyone elses cat got the hump coz you wont let it out?

My cat is very mad at the fact I wont let him out because of the fireworks. Let him out for a supervised stroll and he found it highly amusing to sit at the other side of neighbours garden preening
Meanwhile, I looked like a mad flasher/burgular in the dark in my anorak.

My cat doesn't go out at night anyway, he is lazy and the kitten ain't allowed out yet.

I could never keep our cat in. Our washing machine is in the shed and the moment I tried to slip secretly out Mac woukd know and shoot through my legs to freedom. He wasn't ever bothered by fireworks though so we were lucky.
