Ideas wanted on Dog Friendly days out in Somerset/North Devon

We are taking Ruby, our 8 month old Vizsla, on her first holiday this weekend. We are off to Bicknoller in West Somerset.

I have tried researching online but just seem to be met with lots of adverts and "pay to join us and then we will give you a wee bit of info" type websites.

I am not keen on cliff top walks with her given that she is very bouncy and I have a 6 and 10 year old DS

Apparently, West Somerset Steam Railway is dog friendly (DS1 obsessed with steam trains so that one is guaranteed winner). We are also doing a Land Rover Safari on Exmoor where she is also welcome.

Any ideas of beaches, walks, museums, pubs & restaurants all very welcome :)

The Quantock Hills are absolutely stunning, there are loads of walks up there where you can take your dog.

I will come back if I think of anything else though.
