Petition for uc limits

Seen this and thought id share in case anyone wants to sign

If anything I think it's quite high already. And I claim uc

reading it , it’s also about the limit being the same for single & joint claims, I agree the limit should be higher for joint

I agree with above that it’s high already. It needs reducing in my opinion, maybe £6k for a joint claim, £3k for a single claim. If you can save £3000, you don’t need to be claiming UC.

I get uc but think this petition will be unpopular in the current climate. The limits should stay as they are imo.

I think 16k as an upper limit of savings is more than reasonable before claiming benefits due to low income.
What are you proposing it should be raised to?

It just says it should be changed in line with today’s money I think

Already too high. If you have £15k in savings you don't need UC. £5k might be better.
