Hi, I would just like to bring your attention to an absolutely horrific case in china that happened recently. there is a petition below. This is about a dog called WangWang and her puppies.

Hi! I was just looking up for anything on Wang Wang’s story, it is truly horrific, and while I’ve already signed and shared the link to this petition on my Instagram pages, I am regularly searching the news and socials to find if there is anything else I can do to add my voice to the many others seeking justice for Wang Wang. Poor little dog and her puppies didn’t stand a change against those 4 evil kids!

There IS justice and the people baying for this do not understand how the system works in China. The boys responsible have been sent to what used to be called a reform school in the UK. I have been inside one of these in China recently. Believe me, the conditions are horriffic and heartbreaking. The culprits are suffering immensely for what they have done - physically and mentally. No amount of western handwringing will change the law but rest assured that despite the lack of criminal charges, the culprits will definitely be suffering more than you can imagine. For years to come.

I appreciate the local context you’ve shared.
For me though, this isn’t about expecting a particular legal outcome, it’s a matter of humanity, while supporting the worldwide conversations now happening around whether animal abusers are truly held accountable and whether people are being taught empathy to animals.
A little postpartum stray dog and her four 2 week old puppies were beaten and then burned to death by 4 children who laughed and filmed it.

Speaking up about that isn’t political for me, it’s just compassion for a defenceless animal family who suffered in a way no living being should.
Signing and sharing the petition is my way of honouring that.
