Tell the UK Government: Bring British Citizens Home from Iran

My friends mum recently died and her dad travelled to Tehran to carry out the traditional 40 day last rites with their family. He is now trapped and the British Government is only offering repatriation flights for British Citizens from Israel and not Iran.

We're keen to put some pressure on the UK Foreign Secretary so have set up this petition.

No, he flew against FCDO travel advice. No one should have to risk their life to bring him back.

British Government is only offering repatriation flights for British Citizens from Israel and not Iran.

Having had an exchange of posts with you earlier about this earlier I'm a bit dissapointed by that.

You are still portraying this completely incorrectly as being down to big bad HMG being wiilling to pay for people to fly out of Israel but unwilling to pay for them to fly out of Iran.

You know there is more to it than that.

I accept it's probably too late to change the wording on the petition.
