I want to take a moment to thank every single one of you who has stood beside this campaign, who has shared, signed, spoken out, and opened their hearts.

Because of you, 52,750 people have signed the petition calling for regulation of rescues in the UK. That’s over fifty thousand voices crying out for justice. More people are waking up. More rescues are bravely joining this fight. And more innocent souls are hearing our cries for regulation.

But I’ll be honest with you…
My heart is still shattered.

41 dogs died.
So many are still missing.
They were supposed to be safe.
They were supposed to be rescued.
Instead, they died behind closed doors, forgotten by a system that doesn’t protect them.

I can’t understand how we’re still begging for this to be debated.
I don’t know how we’re not already at 100,000 signatures.
How many more need to suffer before it’s “enough” for those in power to regulate rescues?

This campaign matters.
It’s not a trend. It’s not a moment. It’s a lifeline for the ones we love. Without regulation, this will happen again — and again.
And next time, it could be more than 41.
Next time, we might not even hear about it.

Please… keep going.
Keep shouting. Keep pushing. Keep talking to your friends, your family, your neighbours, your colleagues — anyone who will listen.

79% of people in the UK still don’t know that rescues aren’t regulated. That has to change.
Because we can’t fix what we won’t face.

From the bottom of my broken heart — thank you.
Thank you for not looking away.
Thank you for fighting for them.
Thank you for speaking out.

But we’re not there yet.
So please — don’t stop.
Sign. Share. Keep Shouting.

You can add two signatures per email address — and don’t forget to check your inbox to confirm your signature.

This must be debated in Westminster. We owe that to every single life lost.

We must make sure this never, ever happens again đź’”
