This will probably get moved to Petitions, but yes, we do need a public enquiry.

The likes of Stonewall and Mermaids - but even more importantly how and why did the NHS go down this route so easily?

In a way I expect nothing better of lobby groups but the grown-ups in the NHS should not have capitulated so easily.

The government have responded to the petition about a public enquiry already so the next milestone would be to get it to 100k signatures in order for it to be debated. It's worth a try!
