Fighting Gender Ideology in the WI

People on this thread are well aware of the ideological capture of the Women's Institute by the trans lobby. We are fighting back and need your help!

Please can you sign the petition to demand a moratorium on trans women joining the WI, to have a debate about this direction, and a vote.

The request has been formally turned down by the Board of Trustees of the National Federation of Women's Institutes, after a formal submission in February this year.

There is a question to ask whether or not you are a member so we can disaggregate the results.

DM us if you want to get further involved, especially if you are a WI member who disagrees with the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy 2021 and share as widely as you can too.

When I was little, our mother often yelled, "For God's sake! You're rampaging like the Mongols Horde!"

Now I'm a little bit older, my wife is from the territory of the Golden Horde (apparently, it may actually have been the "Pale" Horde) I never remember to say it to our daughter - despite having a perfectly legitimate reason!

I was thrilled many years ago to learn that my blood group was AB +ve.

Apparently the AB groups are from the Mongols. (Perhaps also explains why I like yogurt and would love to live in a yurt). 😄

The WI Trustees rejected the moratorium request on 23/03/23. Where do you go now if you’re a gender critical WI member?

Sex (thought the WI lawfully restricts membership to women only).
The policy and the constitutions are in direct conflict, but the NFWI are not interested in this and there is no definition of what a woman is. The policy is open enough that a man in men's clothing can turn up and say he's a woman and join, and if it's questioned that could be transphobia due to unconscious bias.

Well, we've made waves on Twitter, although that's only Twitter, but this has allowed others to join us. However, it made quite a few news outlets.
