It just feels like pissing into the wind though. I know we should stand up for change but it's all so demoralizing.

I suspect it's not a coincidence with the rail strikes but rather timed to support them. Agree it'll be a shame if it makes it too hard for some to attend who otherwise would though.

Yes GE is a extremely low chance, however it puts pressure on the Tory's and that's what they need right now. Millions of people standing up and saying "no we aren't taking this crap any longer."

Write to your MP too. The more people raise their voices the more likely change will happen.
