Please sign. Apparently because he is a decent goal scorer that negates him being a rapist.

He appeared to be tolerated at Clyde, however completely short sighted of RR to ignore and minimise his past and think staff and fans would welcome him. The poor girl having all this brought up again and publicised across the media. Must be traumatic for her.

This is my hometown and my local team. I'm affronted. They've lost so many season ticket holders, staff, sponsors etc as a result of this. And a wonderful women's team captain. His previous stint at the club means he is seen as part of the Raith Rovers family but apparently the women and girls who play for and support the club don't matter one bit. I'm glad to see the stand being taken by fans, though like chipsandpeas I don't see them backing down unfortunately.

I've not read much of the case but I can't understand why he isn't serving a prison sentence. He appears to be a vile person with several previous convictions for violence and should not be employed in a job where players should be role models and lead fairly decent lives when not on the pitch .

I've signed, but I think it's a shame that there is so much emphasis on this being unacceptable for a 'family club' when rape should be unacceptable in any sphere. No criticism of the petition originators themselves, it's just disappointing that there has to be any qualification to condemn this kind of behaviour.

Good point @DysmalRadius zero tolerance should be just that shouldn’t it? So disappointed that it’s 2022 and this is considered okay.
