"Wirral Grammar School for Girls is the only school on the Wirral which doesn’t allow girls to wear trousers to school, we are aiming to change this with your help! Even if you wouldn’t wear trousers, supporting this means that people who would like to wear trousers would be able to do so!"

It's 2021 folks!

Girls were allowed to wear trousers in my school not long after I left - which was way back in the 90s.

Utterly ridiculous this is still an issue. We went on strike in 1978 for the right to wear trousers. They changed the rules about 20 years later 🙄

Both my primary school and secondary were skirts only, we had petitions all the time and nothing happened. Both Roman Catholic schools.
