Education more important than saving Christmas. Also it’s hugely unfair given that other celebrations for other faiths have had to cope with lockdown

I would love for this to happen and so would my DH. Both secondary teachers. Why? So we can see our DC and bring him home from his care home. Yes I'm being selfish but fuck it, it's about time. Sick of other people's kids taking priority over our own.

Kids need to be in school, they've missed so much already and it's so important for their education and mental health.

And we don't need to 'save Christmas'. We'll still have Christmas but it might just look a bit different this year.

My kids would much rather be in school with their mates than locked down at home.

Also all those parents that want their kids to be at home ... will they be or will they let them
Go out with their school friends during the school break ? Last Sunday and this Sunday I’ve seen groups of 3-4 kids on their bikes .... the other day they were even smoking despite being around 13-14.
