Fellow parent business people....
Will you sign my petition to change professional childcare to be an allowable business expense for businesses in their first two years of trading (or at the very least pre-profit)
The idea being that it would help those who want to start a business who are responsible for looking after their child/children by giving them carved out thinking/work time without the guilt of trying to do it all.
It's something I feel passionately about - I am allowed to put in all my hotel/travel and subsistence costs to attend a trade show but not the cost of anyone to look after my child.
This is particularly for those in the pre-profit days as once the business starts earning money then you just have to pay it like everyone else..
