There's already a thread (started in AIBU but got shifted to Petitions by MNHQ) - but no harm in having two as the one in Petitions now keeps dropping out of active threads.

I am really surprised this has not been more supported. When they have blocked concerns from MPs, it is vital that we find a way to ask these questions on behalf of those who are most vulnerable in our society.

I guess people are worried about linking to this on their other SM platforms - even though it's merely asking for a review of rules which are demonstrably not fit for purpose. I don't use any other than MN, unfortunately.

If there's any relevant news stories where it could be mentioned in comments that would help.

I have retweeted it a few times hoping to push it forwards. That is a good idea re including it in some other threads.

I was thinking more of comments on The Times etc if there are any relevant stories. For MN threads, (for some reason I don't quite understand), a direct link to a petition is only allowed under this Petitions and Activism topic, and if you include such a link the whole thread may get moved. It might be ok to link to this thread, I'm not sure.
