In response to the problem of an ever-increasing amount of plastic waste polluting our environment, we need to make supermarkets offer an option of no packaging or eco-friendly packaging for each item of fresh fruit and vegetables they sell.

Currently more than halfway to 100,000 signatures.

Oooh greenpeace put a bunch of paper bags in my local Morrisons once and I thought it was great (they needed to be bigger though)

My Morrisons has started supplying paper bags for fruit and veg now.

Excellent, signed. The biggest issue when trying to cut out plastic is that so many things are simply not available without it! We’ve been so used to variety and choice, that limiting our selection so drastically makes plastic free seem like a punishment.

Bring on the ban!!
