Mandatory training in autism/LD

Mencap is campaigning about hospital care for learning disabled people. It wants all doctors and nurses to receive training in the care of people with Autism and Learning Disabilities. There is a petition on the Gov't website that you can sign. If the petition gets to 100,000 signatures there will be a mandatory debate in Parliament about the issue.

Just signed. While I have no personal experience of this, I have seen enough awful stories in the press to realise this is sorely needed in some areas. Can't see how the government can argue against it, TBH.
