Calling all Mumsnetters!
Have you ever had a bad experience with a builder? Do you think the Government should act to protect consumers and block the cowboys from trading?
I work at the Federation of Master Builders and we've just launched a new campaign calling on the Government to introduce a licensing scheme for builders.
I'd really like to know if you think we should prevent any old person from trading as a builder and only allow firms with the right skills, knowledge and professionalism to operate in construction (like Gas Safe).
