AIBU to think you should sign this petition to ask the government to consult with women about Self ID?

My 13 year old daughter wants to sign - I can't see anything to say she can't - just asks for you to confirm a British citizen. Any one know if it's ok - I know someone said 16 was ok earlier.

I guess seeing as young people are being groomed online to commit to sexual stereotypes - I guess they should be old enough to sign a petition, in which case we should all discuss with our children and see if they wish to sign?

Just found out it's ok for my13 year old daughter to sign - she is very pleased and interested in this discussion due to everyone she knows feeling the pressure to "commit" to a sexuality (stereotype) - seems to be generally commit to anything that isn't who you are.

I hope she will bring it up with her friends - I will email the PDF to her school too.

I have signed because
I don't want vulnerable women put off going to a refuge in case there are biological men there
I want my Guides and my fellow leaders and myself able to make an informed decision about whether to share accommodation and changing facilities with a biological man.
I want career progression, wages, discrimination, violence etc. where women get a worse deal than men accounted for properly.
