HerFemaleness
I agree completely. It's about changing the narrative.
The proposed changes to include self ID was the first time that almost anyone had even heard about this.
At first, there were a few, worrying but not numerous, incidents.
But since then it has snowballed into a direct attack.
All women 'anything' are being targeted. No matter what they are for.
From rape refugees to the online retailer making bras for adolescent girls, lesbian restaurants, vagina monologues, midwife groups, all women shortlists, girl guides. The lot.
If it's got the word woman in it, it must be targeted.
It doesn't even translate to a transwoman wanting to join these specific things.
As long as the organisers state publicly and loudly that they will include men. If they don't, they are relentlessly persecuted and intimidated.
As I said, the law allows for this. It doesn't recognise that this behaviour is intimidating and bullying.
500 individual transwomen leaving a one star review on a lesbian restaurant isn't illegal. Who would you go after?
What has to happen is for people read those reviews and instantly recognise it for what it is.
And that will only happen if women can talk.
