Petition to make mental health education compulsory in schools

ShawMindFoundation · 04/04/2017 10:10

79% of British parents with children 18 and under agree that children should be taught more about mental health issues at school and 67% said they are concerned about rising levels of mental health problems amongst children.

The Shaw Mind foundation are launching a campaign to ensure mental health is a compulsory part of the curriculum.

If you want to ensure the wellbeing of children and young people across the country, please sign the petition below to get the Government to debate this topic in Parliament.

We need 100,000 signatures to get a debate so please share it with all your friends!

The petition isn't specific.

Is the wish to have it included as part of the science curriculum? Or added to SRE?
