Help SAVE this UNIQUE CLINIC treating CHRONIC CYSTITIS

If anyone has seen our campaign to keep the LUTS clinic at Whittington Hospital open, please do sign our petition.

Chronic UTIs are on the increase and can happen to anyone who has had a UTI. If you've ever had a UTI you can probably imagine the horror of a UTI that doesn't clear up. This is the only clinic that treats chronic UTI so we really do all need it. Chronic UTI can seriously limit the lives of previously fit and active mums, confining them to the house and depriving them of their jobs, relationships, etc. Please help us safeguard this clinic so that chronic UTI can be treated and so that research continues into a cure.

Wow. My dd has suffered so much with chronic UTIs she's got scarring/function issues, and I never knew about this place before.

Noodoodle. Sorry to hear this. Historically it's been a tertiary service, so people only get referred there when all else fails. Currently the Professor who heads the clinic can only see private patients but we're working on that and expect it to change soon. Many people don't understand how serious UTIs can be...especially ones that don't go away.

OP Can you ask MNHQ to change the title of your thread? If you mentioned it was for a petition you may get more response. I admit that at first I didn't open the thread because there are so many on this forum with that title.

Eek. Not sure how to. I have posted this in the campaigns section with petition in the title.

On the blue bar right at the top of your post you can see Add Message, Report, Message Poster.

Click on Report and that takes you to a link where you can 'talk' to MNHQ by posting a comment- ask for the title to be changed into something that shows it's a petition and you want support.
