What Carol may be trying to say, somewhat badly, is that the petition is hard to read because of the lower case 'i' and the lack of capital letters elsewhere, amongst other things. Are these names of other schools? Probably. But it's hard to read and understand and consequently support the petition.

While I agree that girls should be allowed to wear trousers I doubt very much that this petition will do anything very helpful.

The school has already said that it isn't going to take any notice of the person starting the petition when she collected signatures in person from pupils, why would they be more likely to do when she collects them online? She still won't be a current pupil and the majority of signatories are likely to have no connection to the school at all.

Is it a girls only school?
Is it private or state?

I agree in principle that girls should be allowed to wear trousers but I also think that boys should be allowed to wear skirts/ shorts especially in the summer months if they wish to keep cool.
I'm not signing the petition because people agree to uniform policies when they enrol their children in a school and additionally I think any petition should address uniform inequality for both genders.

OP - is there any way of editing your intro on change.org?

The spelling and punctuation does unfortunately stand out and people will pick up on it (rightly or wrongly)
