Possible restriction of CB to two children- come sign the petition

Whatever your thoughts on the election result there is a real possibility that DC may make changes to Child Benefit, the most likely being to restrict it to two children. Not many people plan to have multiples and often this will push them over the number of children they had 'planned' to have. I had triplets when DD was 18 months - we planned only to have 2 (not that I would change them for the world). However, a cut in CB would really affect us.
I am writing to DC to express the views of parents of multiples before he makes his final decision on welfare cuts. If you would like to sign the petition and then share on FB or twitter then your support would be appreciated.

Thanks!

For heaven's sake. The dust has barely settled on the election and people are already demanding stuff for their own personal benefit. We've already had a thread wanting more childcare immediately and now this. I don't support the Tories but think this is just grabby to be doing this so soon.

Surely it would be more effective to wait and see what happens before trying to drum up support, they may decide not to do this at all. If they do decide to go ahead, that is the time to lobby
