I've signed, and I'm also a chicken/sheep keeper that manages to co-exist with foxes with no problems. In fact they do a great job of keeping the rabbit population down.
How anyone can justify chasing a fox to an unpleasant end (and no their necks aren't broken by the hounds, there are plenty ripped to pieces) and call themselves humanely controlling a species is beyond me.
Not to mention that many hounds will also be shot when they are no good for hunting, plus the animals that are caught in the way of the pack and ripped apart.
As for hunting them because they hunt other species, I'm afraid they have to eat, they have no concept of revenge, but understand fear and pain and why would anyone be happy to inflict that on another creature?
Cats do hunt, but they are also valuable for vermin control and I believe the RSPB has stated that cats are unlikely to have a detrimental impact on bird populations.
No, I'm afraid that humans are by far the cruelest species intentionally.
