School Playing Field Being Sold Off

Hi,
Please sign our campaign petition if you can.....

In order to fund the change in school system in Oundle, Northants, from 3tier to 2 tier, the council, who had said they had funding, have now very late in the game said they are going to sell off a large portion of our lovely middle school playing field.....most likely for housing. Our children and future generations need this playing field (also used by community groups).

Our children need open, green space for play and sports

Well done netball for getting a positive response to this. I started a thread in chat earlier and was pretty much told I was wasting my time. The more of us speaking up about this the better!

We now have approximately 2200 signatures but if any mumsnetters would like add to their support by signing our petition to save a large portion of school playing field, that would be fab
