It is hidden from the public that GP's are given a financial incentive to get 80% of female patients to submit to undergoing a cervical smear test.
The choice whether to take part in screening should rest entirely with the woman, but this choice is compromised by many GP's putting women under great pressure to screen, and often presenting the smear test as compulsory.
It is unethical to treat one (rare) disease above other more common, equally dangerous diseases, just because the GP wants to get a cash bonus.
Please sign if you agree to get this cash bonus system stopped, so that women will no longer face pressure and coercion at every appointment.
