From October 2013 Independent Midwives will no longer be able to practise in the UK due to EU legislation requiring insurance that is not currently available.
This is about choice for women (and midwives) and their care during pregnancy and childbirth. Because i believe women should continue to have this choice available to them, along with the continuity of care it brings, I've just signed this petition. Please consider signing if you agree.
