That's it really.
In a few days the final decision will be made whether to close Lewisham Hospital A and E and maternity services.
- The hospital performs VERY WELL by any measurements
- The hospital is NOT in debt
- The hospital A and E has very recently had millions spent on rebuilding
- I ( for example) will have to travel 45 minutes to my nearest A and E. I have no car. Lewisham has a very large and growing population who will be trying to travel to this other hospital which is already over full.
People will die.
Please,please either sign the petition google 'save Lewisham Hospital' or come to the demonstration in Lewisham Centre this Saturday 26th.
