Andy, playing Snakes and Ladders, used the phrase "I'm going to throw this die..."

Anyone else impressed by that level of pedantry correctness on children's television?

"Dice" is now an accepted singular in some dictionaries. Personally I think "die" is overpedantic but I know that many will agree to differ.

I have always said die. My children now correct other people which can be embarrassing.

alea jacta est...

...and using Latin isn't?
