Yet another hideous Americanism that's crept in unfortunately. My pet hate at the moment (especially on here) is people using the word "mom". Since when has that been an English word? And how long before we're all sending "Happy Mom's Day" cards???

I just assumed anyone who says "Mom" on here was American.
I had no idea they use it in the West Midlands. Learn something new everyday
