Is it 'I'm loath to admit' or 'I'm loathe to admit'? Brain says loath but isn't entirely sure...

it's loath.

PrivetDancer · 08/02/2010 07:45

I thought "I'm loathed"

PrivetDancer · 08/02/2010 07:47

Ooh have learnt something already today! Can go back to sleep now.

frakkinaround · 08/02/2010 07:59

Phew. Thought so but had one of those horrible moments of indecision where you think you're right but don't want to put the wrong thing because then you look like you're being a pretentious twit who can't actually speak English but is trying to be clever.

Have a nice sleep privet!

No, it's loth, I thought. (Will go and look in dictionary when kitten wakes up and gets off my lap!)

Poledra · 08/02/2010 09:57

Can be loth or loath, according to my dictionary.

Katisha · 08/02/2010 10:26

Loth

Another vote for "loth".

trixymalixy · 21/02/2010 22:59

loath

fradgely · 22/02/2010 13:02

"loth" is better to my mind
