Adviser or advisor

I don't normally venture over here but need some advice.
My friend and I are setting up a partnership selling real nappies and we are designing our business cards. We want to call ourselves 'Real Nappy Advisors' I've looked at the dictionary and it appears to me that adviser/advisor is interchangeable but which would be better do you think? My instinct is Advisor but I'm happy to be guided by the MN pedants. I hate to see things in print that have glaringly obvious mistakes.

I would guess that 'adviser' is more like US in origin.

I am an "adviser"

as "advisor" seems wrong.

Well it's advice but advisory. Adviser scans better to me. Advisor makes me look twice at the word IYSWIM.

I think ADVISOR and just asked Ds to spell it and he spelled it the same way, so it's Or.

I think my job title was "advisor"

The dictionary recognizes both . . . so I'd go with the advice given. If you try a google search on both, you'll get an idea of which spellings are more common in which circles.
Good Luck!

I always use adviser, and most newspaper and magazine style guides insist on it, including The Guardian style guide which is always my default in cases of perplexity.
Advisor is more common in the US IME.

There seems to be a bit of a split in opinion here!
Having done some googling - thank you zazizoma for that suggestion - there seems to be more Nappy Advisors than Nappy Advisers however more Financial Advisers than Financial Advisors and more Political Advisors than Political Advisers.
I think we'll go with the flow and be Nappy Advisors. I recently saw a card for a Real Nappy Consultant which would remove the dilema but we decided that sounded a bit too poncy.
