photo's. could it in fact be an apostrophe of omission?

I was about to jump up and down on seeing this, but then wondered if it could be an intentional apostrophe of omission - for the "graph" bit. But, then again, you don't see the word photo' so maybe that's way too charitable of me...

But isn't disco's allowed because otherwise the brain wonders what a discos is?

Wouldn't it be discoes if that were the case? Good grief, I don't know what the plural of disco is
