Yes.

Poledra · 06/06/2009 22:46

Yes

LovelyRitaMeterMaid · 06/06/2009 22:47

I would

Claire's cake shop

Although some names like Harrods used to be Harrod's (I think) and have gradually changed.

PortAndLemon · 06/06/2009 22:47

Yes. Claire's cake shop.

ILoveDolly · 06/06/2009 22:48

because Claire's is a possessive noun - she owns the cake shop.

PortAndLemon · 06/06/2009 22:49

Unless by some strange chance it is owned by two or more women who are all named Claire, in which case it could conceivably be Claires' cake shop. But that's not very likely...

ILoveDolly · 06/06/2009 22:49

Well Harrods isn't owned by Harrod anymore is it?

ILoveDolly · 06/06/2009 22:50

ROFL Claires' cake shop.

giraffesCantRunA10k · 06/06/2009 22:57

Thank you.

It always pains me that there is no apostrophe in the "Boots" logo (the shop started by Mr Boot).
