There is painted on the road in white paint several feet long:

HGV'S

Maybe someone called HGV owns that bit of road.

Oooh i hadn't thought of that. Made me want to get a crowbar to the tarmac though.

We had a road near us which had SLOM painted on it for years. Loads of people complained to the council but they said they couldn't afford to repaint it until all the other markings on that road needed painting.
Eventually that time came, they repainted all the markings on the road..... and did it again!

That time, after a scathing article in the local paper they sent someone out one night and put it right...
