Was delivering DCs to nursery this morning (usually DP takes them so hadn't been in a while).

Delighted to see that they have planted up some raised beds with vegetables to get the children more interested in gardening.

Was less delighted to see, upon closer inspection, a row of little labels all marked 'potatoe'.

Oh that isn't good. Even I feel safe enough to venture into pendants' corner about that one.

Into where ?

I think a pedants' pendant is rather a good idea actually. Sort of club membership, in a suitably librarianesque style.
