In the sentence:

"it would help him to practice/practise his writing"

I'm tired and have a headache and my brain is mush today.

If you are in the UK, then practise.

If you are the USA then practice.

I find it helps to think of advise and advice.

Don't you practise your practice?

Practise = verb ie I practise medicine
Practice = noun ie GP's Practice

georgimama · 27/03/2009 14:06

Yay me!

SoupDragon · 27/03/2009 14:07

As Meerkat says, think of advise and advice. It's the only way I ever remember!

BecauseImWorthIt · 27/03/2009 14:14

I know that

Thanks all - I think I need a nap!
