Worse/Worst case scenario?

My boss 'corrected' my version today and I want to make sure I'm not going mad before I challenge him!

If you were going to be really thorough I suppose you could have a worse case and a worst case scenario - i.e. one if things go wrong and back up in case it's a complete and utter disaster. But I guess he means 'worst'.

I had put worst case scenario because in the report I had discussed three of them, although the context was that of a general, broad brush discussion. Had there been only two, I would have considered putting worse case!

And if you want to be really pedantic, it should be worst-case scenario...
